Children's Ministries

Welcome to PUMC's Children's Ministries where our goal is to build Champions for Christ through 4 key ministry areas. They are Worship, Christian Education, Servanthood, and Relationships with Christian friends.

Weekly PUMC's Children's Ministries Activities

Nursery care is available for ages 6 weeks-3 years of age in classroom A during 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. worship.

KidsOwn worship during Contemporary Worship at 9:30 a.m-

When Kids Worship God amazing things happen. All prek-5th graders are invited to Kids Own Worship following the Children's Story.

Kids begin their journey worshiping God through Music, Bible Point, Prayer, Offering and Communion. Prek-K leave KidsOwn worship and head to classroom B after the music portion for their own age appropriate Bible lesson, snack and free play. Please be sure to pick up your children in classroom B following worship. Kids 2nd- 5th return to Adult worship to share in communion and closing.

Sunday School-The Whole Peope of God! during Traditional Worship at 11:00 a.m:

Kids prek-5th grade head to Sunday School class following the children's story. Kids will engage in God's word through a Bible story and craft. And then have a snack and time for fellowship with their friends. Kids in prek-1st grade attend classroom B and 2nd-5th grade attend classroom D. Please be sure to pick up your students immediately following worship.

Children's Choir

Prek-1st grade students meet in the Youth Room from 10:30-11:00 a.m. Kids will learn simple, high energy songs to be shared during the Christmas Season and also during worship. The 2nd-5th grade choir meets from 11:00-12:00 in the Youth Room. This choir prepares more challenging music but also shares during Worship and the Christmas Season. Both choirs will prepare for the Spring Musical titled Life School Musical. Date for performance To Be Announced.

Children's Volunteer Requirements-

All Children's Ministry volunteers are screened. Vounteers are supported through constant communication with the Director of Children's Ministries, are part of a team and keep updated through bi-monthly Children's Ministries Discussions.
