Global Outreach

African childrenTherefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19-20)

As Christians we are commanded by Jesus to "go." We are not meant to stay inside the walls of the church; we are meant to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Join us as we reach the world for Jesus. Here are some ways that you can get involved in global outreach.

missionUnited Methodist Committee on Relief: UMCOR is involved in disaster relief, humanitiarian aid, and public health all around the world. There are many ways to serve through UMCOR.

United Methodist Volunteers in Missions:UMVIM has many volunteer opportunities to help with mission projects around the globe.

Operation Christmas Child:Peace participates every year in Operation Christmas Child. We collect shoeboxes filled with toys and necessities that are sent to children all over the world.

Compassion International:For 25 years, Compassion International has been releasing children from poverty in Jesus' name. They provide education, healthcare, and nutrition to children in the poorest areas of the world. But what they really provide is hope. You can sponsor a child and show them God's love.

World Vision:Like Compassion, World Vision helps children in poverty to rise above their circumstances and develop into Christian leaders.

Youth Mission Trips: Each year our senior high school youth travel to a place in the United States and internationally to be Christ to those in need. Some places the senior high youth mission trips have visited in the past decade include Appalachia, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Nashville, Baltimore, the Bahamas, and Mexico.  Our middle school mission trip has consistently worked with Impact Ministries in the Orlando metro area working in local under-served communities. If you would like to be a chaperone, contact Brandon Sangster at
