Connections: A Virtual Bible Study for the Chronically Busy

We all agree that studying the Bible is a vital part of our development as disciples of Jesus Christ, but it’s not always easy to do. Perhaps you’ve never been properly introduced to the Bible and how to read it. Perhaps you’re too busy to participate in a formal Bible study. Perhaps the Bible studies you have been part of were too academic. In an effort to make the Bible more accessible to those who hunger for God’s Word but are constrained by time or geography, we have developed a virtual Bible study.

Here’s how it works.  You can work through the material on your own, or you can join us for a small group discuss on Wednesday evenings during CenterPeace. In Spring 2014 we will be studying The Promise (the first five books of the Old Testament) and in Fall 2014 we will study The Fulfillment (the first five books of the New Testament). Here is the schedule:

  • January: Genesis
  • February: Exodus
  • March: Leviticus/Numbers
  • April: Deuteronomy
  • August: Mark
  • September: Matthew
  • October: Luke
  • November: Acts
  • December: John

You can begin the study at any time.

  1. Download the study guides of your choice:
    1. Old Testament:  The Promise Study Guide
    2. New Testament:  The Fulfillment Study Guide
  2. If you prefer to be part of an in person small group, you can join us on Wednesday nights.
  3. If you choose to study on your own, may God richly bless your reading of his Holy Word. If you have any questions at any point in your study, feel free to contact Cindy Wheatley at cwheatley2@cfl.rr.com.
