You are invited to recall the Peace UMC Vacation Bible School, entitled: Beneath the Storytelling Tree - Parables Jesus Told held in July 1994. This year marked the 100th anniversary of Vacation Bible Schools in America. VBS takes a lot of work and planning by a dedicated staff to ensure success, as this scan affirms.

And, of course, there was always time for some outside, fun activities! The 1994 VBS was held at Waterbridge Elementary School.

This scan shows the Closing Celebration Program "TOTALLY PARABOLIC" for the 1994 Vacation Bible School, Beneath the Storytelling Tree - Parables Jesus Told. It was held on July 15, 1994, at Waterbridge Elementary School.

In this last figure we see a scan of the list of Vacation Bible School Staff from the 1994 VBS. As mentioned earlier, it takes a strong and dedicated staff of many volunteers to make a VBS a successful and meaningful event in the life of the Children of Peace.
